La #difficolt di fare una cosa apparentemente tanto #banale come controllare il grado di qualit con cui stata codificata unimmagine JPEG:
Su #PC:
- Apro la foto in GIMP, vado a fare come per riesportarla in JPEG, spunto lopzione per usare la stessa qualit del file originale, e nella casella vedo il numero in questione (ci sar un modo meno strano, ma questo il pi semplice che conosco)
Su #mobile:
- Navigo alla foto da un gestore di file, controllo le propriet, ma ne mancano un sacco, tra cui quella l
- Uso un altro file manager, che mi dice ancora altri dettagli, ma proprio non la qualit
- Provo ad aprire il file in qualsiasi #app installata che visualizzi immagini, inclusa Galleria, i visualizzatori integrati nei gestori di file, ed app di modifica fotografica leggera, ma, ammesso che dicano pi di zero, quella cosa manca in ogni caso
- Vedo su F-Droid se ci sono nuove app utili, a volte sembra di si ed altre no quando sembra di si, tipo stavolta, spreco #tempo e banda per installarle, per poi scoprire che proprio questa cosa specifica che mi serviva non si pu controllare
- Sul Google Play nemmeno ci guardo, pieno di monnezza e la ricerca fa pure schifo, spesso non si trova nulla e altre volte si trova adware
- GIMP su Android ogni volta che mi servito non mai esistito, ho sempre dovuto usare contenitori Linux per eseguire un ambiente desktop con una userspace da PC, ma quando ci funziona scomodissimo da usare, ruba RAM comportando spesso luccisione di altri processi, occupa un sacco di memoria di archiviazione, e certe volte queste distro ripacchettizzate per proot si scassano pure per uso desktop dopo un po
- Ci sar probabilmente qualche tool CLI da poter usare, ma che palle Dovrei perdere la pazienza cercandolo sul web districandomi tra i siti SEO spam che ogni giorno si moltiplicano, ammesso che sia nelle repo di Termux o che sia compilabile senza tirar bestemmie (scordatevi di trovare sul web il binario ARMv8 compilato e con la giusta glibc, succede solo se il programma scritto in Go), e poi se non c un rapido tutorial dovrei anche capire come usarlo leggendo documentazione terribile (mentre i programmi GUI puoi usarli andando a casaccio)
- Per fortuna ho la VM Windows nella nuvola (casa mia molto in alto, si), dove posso usare GIMP, ma devo in qualche modo passare il file l, ma: il client RDP che uso su #Android, che lunico decente, ha un bug e il montaggio di cartelle non funziona provo ad aprire un server FTP sul telefono, per Windows non riesce ad accedere, chiss qual la rogna nel setup di rete tra VPN e VM che impedisce ci (e nel frattempo explorer.exe si impalla e crasha lmao) dovrei forse impostare un server SFTP su Windows o ancora meglio trovare il modo di montare cartelle tra guest Windows in QEMU e lhost Linux, ma per ora lunica cosa che posso fare copiare il file via SFTP sullarchiviazione fisica del server, e poi ricopiarmelo dentro Windows con WinSCP, o passarlo per Telegram/Matrix ma ancora pi lento
- E solo a questo punto si segue comunque la #procedura PC. L #informatica una presa in giro, niente mai funziona subito

Zurzeit nutze ich als und nebeneinander zum Ausprobieren. Tusky kenne ich schon von frher und bin davon begeistert, Fedilab scheint dem aber in nichts zurck zustehen und bietet darber hinaus eine zweite Funktionsmenleiste, also je eine oben und unten. Das ist super!
Nachteilig ist allerdings, dass (noch) nicht alle Funktionen in den Apps angeboten werden bei beiden nicht. Das ist beim Kennenlernen natrlich schwierig. Ich werde, wenn ich etwas verstehen lernen muss, mir immer erst mal im Browser anschauen, wie es dort gelst ist und dann in die beiden Apps gehen, ob ich es dort irgendwo finde.
Trotzdem: Super Dankeschn an die :ies von beiden APPs.
