The Split, Bro app is running and I want to personally thank all those who gave it a shot by registering and looking around.
Every day I am working on making it something really special for people in the music scenes, especially those niche ones (you know who you are).
Oh, by the way...those registered this week - the very first feek of the app being live, will get a special "OG" badge - EarlyBirdBro badge (as I called it).
Will there be some nice benefit going with it Maybe not today or tomorrow, but you can bet your ass there will be some! :)

This app has got you covered, its called reef and its a great digital well-being app with lots of cool features. You can just use Usage Stats or app Limits or go deeper with focus mode and stats.

The core idea for the app was to make it behave as if it was part of iOS.
Like how iOS creates a "Birthdays" calendar when you add a birthday to a contact, and then shows a reminder on the day (or before).
That's what I wanted KeepDates to do - but for everything else.

Finding a name for the app took me forever
I didn't want something generic. No "Birthday Reminder Pro". No "Birthday Calendar Plus". Nothing that sounds like every other app on the App Store.
I wanted a name that captures a feeling. And the feeling I kept having was this one:

Another great Polypane update! If someones reading this whos on the fence considering Polypane (and maybe the idea of another subscription), fwiw Im coming up to my first year or so with it, and Im very happy to renew. And Im sure Im only using a small percent of what it could do! While its not an app I pull out every day, when I do it easily earns its keep. Ive tried all the alternatives and nothing comes close for me.
As a bonus- it adds a nice overview page for each contact, with a list of all the contacts dates and per-contact customization controls.
Also uses the dominant color from the avatar for tinting the screen background
