MiDNI: ya podemos llevar el DNI en el mvil y utilizarlo legalmente!
Hace dos aos que y el ao pasado decan que . Y as ha sido al fin: casi por sorpresa han publicado la aplicacin de y su .
Empresas y administracin pblica estarn obligadas en un ao a aceptarlo como mtodo de identificacin equivalente al de la tarjeta. Mientras tanto estamos a expensas de su buena voluntad (y de que tengan la app instalada en un dispositivo para poder realizar la verificacin correspondiente).
El proceso de activacin consta de dos fases diferenciadas:
- : necesitas un DNI electrnico funcional y un lector de tarjetas, adems de darles tu nmero de telfono (donde enviarn un cdigo de verificacin) y un correo electrnico
- Aadir el DNI en el telfono mvil mediante su aplicacin: debers aadir el nmero de soporte y elegir una contrasea
Completar estos pasos puede llevarte menos de cinco minutos si tienes el hardware necesario, el certificado del DNI al da y recuerdas su contrasea. Pero he visto tantos puntos donde algo puede fallar que me recorren escalofros al pensar en registrar a usuarios de mi aula. Deberan haber simplificado el registro para no obligarnos a disponer de ordenador y lector de tarjetas, al fin y al cabo la mayora de telfonos actuales cuentan con un lector NFC que podra (debera!) ser suficiente.
He omitido las opciones de registro en comisaras (en el Puesto de Actualizacin del DNI), pero s quiero destacar que podrn activrtelo nada ms renovar fsicamente el DNI en la Unidad de Documentacin de la Polica. Esto s podra marcar un antes y un despus al activrnoslo por defecto nada ms renovar el documento.
Una vez completado el proceso de registro y activacin, MiDNI nos ofrece tres mtodos de mostrar el DNI a quien necesite identificarnos:
- DNI edad: muestra foto, nmero de DNI y la informacin de si eres mayor de edad (no la fecha de nacimiento)
- DNI simple: adems de foto y nmero, ofrece el nombre y apellidos, la fecha de nacimiento, sexo y fecha de caducidad.
- DNI completo: muestra todos los datos del DNI
Al elegir una de las opciones tendrn un minuto para escanear el cdigo QR de nuestra pantalla. Sin duda, creo que estos diferentes niveles de privacidad son su mayor punto fuerte.
Por otro lado, en la parte negativa toca destacar que requiere de conexin a Internet y nos encontramos solo ante una equivalencia con la tarjeta fsica. Como tarea pendiente para el futuro quedara permitirnos realizar toda clase de operaciones digitales, identificacin y firma electrnica entre otras. Bsicamente, lo que hoy hacemos con o .
