Galivanting in Garrigal
This is quite a nice walk, unfortunately it starts on Mona Vale road, which is very busy and quite nasty to cross. But once you leave the road, there is nice wide track, running along the ridge towards Narrabeen lake. The track then gets narrow and heads down a steep hill to Deep Creep. There were a lot of mozzies there when we visited, so best to keep moving when you`re at the bottom.

This is a lovely way to spend a couple of hours on the water. Follow this track to avoid the shallows at low tide. Of course if you have the time/energy/fitness you could go all the way around the edge, but that would be twice the distance.
